Illinois?

My first week of travel alone in Illinois is under by belt. It was an exciting week and I learned a lot of new things! I also realized how some people's appreciation for agriculture and my appreciation for agriculture are worlds apart. My first night in rural Illinois and someone told me that the state has nothing in it and I should go back to Kentucky! Uh excuse me?! I was so excited about the massive corn fields I was seeing! There are many great things that come from these crops and I was thrilled to finally see this part of the country. 

Unfortunately, none of my pictures were saved :( So sad. So I will have to figure another system out for my future trips. It was a lot of fun and a great way to start my summer of travel!
